What a wonderful surprise for myself and my blog today as I have been given the honour of the Blog Engage Top Weekly User.

I feel so honoured that I was nominated over at BlogEngage for the Weekly Top User, as I always say, I’m just blogging and enjoying what I’m doing and helping fellow bloggers along the way.

I saw the post about nominating a top Blog Engage user and would happily like to put forth my personal favorite at the moment. I really am enamored with Karen (BlazingMinds) from BlazingMinds . The best way I can back up my reason behind nominating her can be found in a comment I left on her “Blazing Minds Hits 1,000 Posts” post. The comment was as follows: “Your site is not about chugging out tons of worthless content but really compelling stuff. I visit a couple times a week to get a dose of entertainment and social media news as well as the great tips you and your guest posters share.”

I’ve just recently came up with my decision as of to whom my vote will go. And this time, I will vote for BlazingMinds ( Karen Woodham ) for the spot. I’ve usually seen her content across BE and I don’t know why but I’ve also get to see her comments whenever I logged into BE at times.

So a big, big thank you to everyone that supports my blog and myself and don’t forget, keep blogging

I’ve had a busy blogging week myself with writing reviews for sites via my post about Alexa Rankings as well as a my review of the Fujifilm Finepix J250 digital camera, also this week I have been updating my blog using updated keywords to help with the SEO of the blog. Sometime back I wrote a post about making the most of your RSS feed, now it’s time for a little advice on using your RSS feed with FeedBurner and Comment Luv, two very useful sites that will improve your linkbacks when you post on other blogs.

With the recent changes over at Entrecard I have been in two minds whether to leave EntreCard or stay, I’m personally not happy with the paid ads system over there at the moment, I hate the way that those who take the time to drop on others site have to share their hard earned EntreCard credits with those that are paying to have their ads shown, this means that those that use their EC credits are not getting their full displays on blogs, due to the 50/50 split of EC credits bought ads and cash ads.

So I recently stopped accepting paid for ads at EntreCard so that those using their EC credits to display ads get 100% on my blog. If you have stopped taking paid ads at EntreCard then check out LadyBanana who is making a list EC sites that “DO NOT ACCEPT paid ads on EntreCard”.

My problem with whether or not to drop EntreCard is my blogs traffic, as I was reading over at The Junk Drawer recently it made me think, most of my traffic does come from EntreCard and I would be losing a chunk of traffic from my blog, so I can’t decide to stay or go.

I know that I do have a good following with over 1,500 followers on Twitter and a good amount of RSS subscribers via readers and email subscriptions, so my blog would possibly stand on it’s own, but I really don’t know what to do.

So I would really appreciate any feedback on my dilema and anyone that dows comment, please let me know how you found my blog originally, thanks everyone
