So last night was my chance to finally get to see Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows at @ApolloCinemas Rhyl and I was hoping that the film would be better than the first one, which I thoroughly enjoy watching.

Guy Ritchie directs again with the wonderful Robert Downey Jr reprising his role as Sherlock and Jude Law back as Dr Watson, a match made in movie heaven as the dialogue and chemistry between the two is perfect.

This time Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson are up against the formidable Professor Moriarty (Jared Harris), Sherlock’s arch-enemy, while on the trail of an unsolved case which could lead to world war, Moriarty strikes terror in the hearts of the public and creates tension between France and Germany in a hope are starting a world war!

A nice surprise this morning as I turned on the TV, just to see what was going on in the world when @steven_moffat and his wife @suevertue were sitting on the sofa on BBC Breakfast.

So I stopped what I was doing and waited for that all important question to be asked “Will there be a second series of Sherlock?” Just as I took a sip of my coffee Bill Turnbull asked the question and the response was yes!

How awesome is that the mighty Steven Moffat is going to bring us another series and it looks like it will be in the same format of a few episodes running at 90 minutes each.

Personally I can’t wait, but, with the production of such an amazing show, it may be a while before Sherlock hits our TV screens, but if the second series of Sherlock is anything like the first one, then it going to be fantastic, I’m just hoping they don’t leave in the lurch of the second series like they have done with the first

So the wait is on for the return of Sherlock, are you looking forward to the second series? Do you think they should have shorter episodes or stick with the 90 mins ones?
