It’s been an awful day today, I got up this morning to a cold and icy day, it took me a good twenty five minutes to clear the car of ice and then I had to “skate” along the drive to open the gate!

What made it worse was that the local council really didn’t think this was going to happen, even though the rest of us did.

Our street was like an ice rink and the little country lane I have to drive up to get to the main back road to work was just as bad, surely it should of been gritted knowing people use this narrow road to get to work ect in the morning, so there I was doing a steady snail pace up the road to get to work, it must of took me at least an extra twenty minutes to work this morning, good job I started out early!

I’m just hoping that tomorrow isn’t the same as today, or I’m going in later!!!

It’s been one of those days today, for starters it’s done nothing but rain all day, got soaked this morning running to the car to get to work and then in turn got soaked once I’d got to work!

Then it all happened again on the way home, got soaked getting to the car from work and soaked getting into the house after work, also on the way home I was amazed how many people don’t have their lights on when driving in really bad weather, it really helps to see other people if they have their lights, some people have no idea.

On the way home I have to drive down a narrow lane and just my luck it was flooded, the water came right up to the bottom of my doors, lucky the water never came in!

Anywho, that’s my rant over, hhmm, strangely feel better after that

I was really looking forward to the car show up the road from me today, but, sadly due to the extremely bad weather that we have been having lately the organizers have canceled the whole weekend, which is a real shame as the shows are something to really look forward to.
