I agree with you on most of these, I was reading the list waiting for Bourne to appear. I prefer the Bourne Supremacy with the black Merc ML and the police car. How about Ronin with the S8 Audi. I think you should do another post with the greatest movie car chases! Or maybe I Will prob is it will never finish!

There are a couple of other strong potentials for this list.

The bank scene in Heat, the car chase in Bullet, the car chase in the Italian Job, or any of the amazing sword fighting scenes in the Highlander also could fit into a top ten.

Oh, wow. I've seen... five of those films. Totally agree with you on Star Wars, Saving Private Ryan, The Matrix, The Two Towers and The Bourne Identity.

Star Wars - I don't see how you can pick a single scene (there are just so many!) But yeh, definitely.
Saving Private Ryan - Ridiculously moving. As you say - documentary like, but impossible to tear your eyes away. You have to keep watching.
The Matrix - yip. Brilliant.
The Two Towers - Having read the books, the film's action sequences are all the more amazing. I love Tolkien, however I don't think that he writes particularly amazing action sequences. So the fact that they have produced such brilliance from relatively little, I find, makes them even better!
The Bourne Identity - Love minis. Favourite car. The scene where they go down the steps is hilarious. Loved it.

Great choices (the ones I knew of). Also you've got me even more tempted to check out the ones I didn't already know.

Hi
I must admit that the opening scene in Saving Private Ryan is the most powerful war scene I can remember I have ever seen. I almost felt it like I was there myself and it must have been so scary to sit on one of those boat entering the beach. The way the used the black and white pictures and the effect with the sound disappearing and only the pictures to tell the story worked very powerful. Just another master piece of Mr. Spielberg.
