You know I once shared this type of information but soon after found out how cut throat this web industry was. A few months into sharing this type of info I seen other people starting to out rank me for my own keywords. I know ti’s a competitive field but why take something I’m willing to share.

I no longer write these type of posts.

That’s great to hear you’re getting relevant traffic for your posts! The traffic seems closely linked to your titles (no shock there), and I just hope you keep getting more of it.

Search traffic for me has been dismal recently. I’m not getting traffic for terms consistently. I’m not too worried about it because nothing online tracks influence, or the spread of ideas, properly.

Sounds like the about could be a sweet money maker in affiliate sales. We have close to 300 Squidoo lenses (our only foray into affiliate marketing), so we kinda take notice to these kinda a things.

  4. I have found some really weird search queries bring traffic to my site, it’s pretty funny to sit down and look at them. Specially the long-long tails : )

  5. Long-tail titles are great for attracting random searchers. The question is whether the person searching actually stays on the site or bounces…

I understand that talking this much about Twitter is bringing many visitors, but how come Lilly Allen be the first? :D

I made a post about Lily Allen ages ago and it seems that it still seems to be one of the search terms that picks that post up, what can I say, Lily Allen is very popular ;)

Its certainly a great revelation. Ileane Smith was commenting in my post sharing her experience that she found some post doing great where least seo work was done. Keywords though most prominent are not predictable.

Having good Alexa Ranking is desirous to everybody but I never understood how installing a toolbar or extension would help in improving the rank? Rather if it was a widget or button on blog published might improve because every visitor to the blog are recorded in Alexa.

Anyway I’m going to install this extension. Will help to check status!
