Had A Trip To Tir Prince Raceway Today
Posted by Karen in UncategorizedIt’s been a funny old day today with the weather, at first it looked like rain, then it warmed up, then cooled down again with a few spits of rain, but overall it’s been warm!
So today we decided to take the dogs for a walk and go up to Tir Prince Raceway, where on a Sunday there is a boot sale, what can I say gets us out the house and gives us a bit of fresh air 
It doesn’t take long to get there as we only live a short distance away and to get to the Raceway we have to go through the lovely park in Towyn. Now it’s not very often we visit the boot sale, it must be a few years since we last went as we usually prefer to go somewhere further afield.
But today we decided to give it a go and my friend @quiffylaa31 came by, so we all went together. OK it’s a boot sale and you don’t expect much and believe me there wasn’t much, it was full of bewildered holiday makers looking for something cheap to buy to take back to relatives to say where they have been for their holiday!
Mind you it did give me an excuse to try out FourSquare, yet again, on my basic phone using their mobile website and it worked quite well.
So it was a lovely walk and nice to have a bit of fresh air, but I wouldn’t say that the Boot Sale was anything to boast about, but when are Boot Sales anything to really scream and shout about

I’m currently waiting for the weather to cool down a little more, before I go on a bike ride around the neighborhood and into the park.
Boot sales can be fun when you are in need of something, or curious to see what is about.

Is that a picture of Tir Prince Raceway? Also begs the question, where is the Flickr slideshow? [grins] As a real estate blogger, whenever we blog locally we try to get a slideshow in there somehow. Here is an example of one, and one of my favorites.

I’m glad to hear you went outside and enjoyed yourself. I’m bad about weather that tends to be ambiguous: I like walking and exploring, but I really hate getting caught in a major rainstorm or the like. So I tend to be really cowardly with the threat of rain.
Like the picture! I wish it’d be a little greener over here in Texas, as opposed to just really sunny and really really hot.
