I have around 750 people I follw and it really gets ridiculous as I can’t keep up with any ONE person that easily. If I want to look someone up, I have to actively search out their page.

I’ve seen similar things as you, with my ollower count remaining hte same despite “new” followers. It all comes from people hoping you’ll autofollow
