It’s quite sad to see the Apollo sign disappear from my local cinema, but some time back the Apollo Cinemas around the country were bought by @VueCinemas and now they have made the move of changing the Sign from Apollo to Vue.
As most of you know I have been a firm supporter of my local cinema since its relaunch last year and have been reviewing films for them ever since, suffice to say I’m still reviewing and still a strong supporter of the cinema, no matter what the name is.
New Name, Same Amazing Staff As The Vue Sign Replaces Apollo
But never fear all most of the amazing staff are still there and being as helpful as always and I always have to say that they are some of the best staff in a cinema that I have ever known, they always have a smile and go out of their way to help customers with any questions or they may have and all done it in a polite manner.
Over the 12 months or so that I’ve been going and reviewing the films at the Apollo, whoops sorry, Vue, I’ve got to know all the staff and have become quite close to them. It’s all like one big family and that’s the feeling you get when you enter the cinema, it’s a cheerful place, not like some other cinemas I’ve visited where the staff, either look down at you or can’t even be bothered to crack a smile!
I even did a post sometime back asking the cinema visitors what they thought of the cinema and all I can say is It’s a local cinema loved by cinema going public.
So it’s now time to say a big welcome to Vue to Rhyl and I’m looking forward to keeping those film reviews flowing on the blog.
I have so many fond memories of the Apollo over the years, even before it’s revamp, but with the takeover of the cinema, there are hopefully going to be more wonderful memories coming along and not to mention the awesome films that will be shown.
Unofficial Vue Rhyl Film Reviewer
I’m proud to announce that I will still be bringing you my movie reviews from the Cinema and you may have noticed that some of the links here on the website.
So you’ll still find all the previous reviews here on the blog, but under the updated category, which is simple Film Reviews I’ve also updated the ratings graphics and over the next few weeks, I will be updating the older posts that still have logos for ratings.
Thanks to Apollo, Vue and You the Reader for your Support
Yes folks a big thanks to you all for supporting myself and the blog over since I started the reviews, without you all reading, commenting and sharing the articles the blog wouldn’t have built up such a strong reputation and readership, it’s all of you that have given me the incentive to keep going and bringing you movie reviews and movie news.
