Hi Karen,
I think it’s pretty cool that you have more search engine traffic from Yahoo! than Google. Do you have a Yahoo! strategy that you would like to share?
I’ve got some work to do to get back in the line up for next week!
Thanks for the updates!

I just submit my sitemap to Yahoo like I do with Google and other search engines, I suppose it’s just what people are searching for via certain search engines

As always, thanks for including me. I’m glad that this blog has become one of my daily stops.
You are the only blogger I know that has more Yahoo traffic than Google. Looks like I’m going to go submit my sitemap to them today. Didn’t even know you could do that.

I submit the sitemap via the XML Sitemap plugin for Wordpress, takes out lot of the work

Thanks for another bitchin’ list, Karen! I became interested in learning more about link building after reading an article (dangit, who was it?) about a fellow who learned that social media wasn’t helping him too much, and that link building was driving 90% of his traffic. Can’t wait to read the Atniz article!

Thanks for the tip on Yahoo sitemap. I use the sitemap plugin but Yahoo wasn’t checked. Do you need the application ID for Yahoo to work?

I have a gravitar but it is not linked to that e-mail address. I just updated at the Gravitar site so it should show for both e-mails.

The twitter directory list is quite nifty, I wasn’t even aware there were any yet.

great list and review of a whole week of posts
I am interested though with you getting more traffic from yahoo search engine compared to google, which is a different case for me, with google topping more of my visits and only a very few from yahoo.

I have been asked this before, I’m not too sure why I’ve had more visits via Yahoo than Google!

Hi Karen,
This perked up my interest. I’ll have to visit the links. You have several visits from entrecard, as I do too. I have a high bounce rate however which they say is not good. I get around 90 % . What about you? How do you solve this problem? Thanks for sharing.

Bounce rate is a bit of a problem with EntreCard due to users doing a “drop & run” just to gain credits, though some do take the time to read a post and I do find that using the “more” option on WordPress does improve the bounce rate, if a visitor is interested in the post then they click more and then they get the full post to read and comment on

I am finally almost caught up now. Big thanks for the link juice on my post, you rock!

I find your top search terms list interesting. It’s not the type of terms I would expect that would drive people here.
I have a do follow blog but I haven’t had a lot of people find me that way. I searched for “dofollow” and your site didn’t come up in the top 100 so I am surprised that was a top search term for you.
