WorldCard Mobile Business Card Scanner, iPhone App – Review

If you are getting a lot of business cards from people or even if you have a couple sitting around collecting dust, an ideal way would be to add them in to your iPhones contact list.

Ok we can type all the detailed in manually, but why donut that way when there is an app that will do it for you, just by taking a photograph of the business card with your iPhones camera.

This is where WorldCard Mobile comes in to action!

Now I wasn’t sure how this would work and if indeed it would work, but it does and it works really well and quickly which can be very useful if you need to get the details in to your contact list in a hurry.

After you have downloaded the app from the iTunes app store and installed it, all you do his start it and hit the camera icon, then you will be given a quick guide on adding a business card. Putting it simply you take a photo of the card and then it’s added to your contacts.

Yes it’s that simple, the WorldCard Mobile app scans the photograph of the business card for all the information it can find such as, name of person and company, photo, phone, fax and mobile numbers, address etc are added to not only to the apps list of scanned cards but you can also save them to your phones contacts.

WorldCard Mobile is fast in processing the information from the scanned business cards and is a very handy app to have on your iPhone with its easy to use interface and simple use of menus, though my only problem is the price of the app, at £4.99 it’s quite a price for the everyday user.

But I suppose this app is based at those that come in to contact with a lot of business cards everyday to do with their job, then it’s really not that of a high price.

So if you do deal with a lot of business cards on a daily basis or perhaps you just have a few that you want to have in one handy place, then this is certainly a good iPhone app to have, you can download WorldCard Mobile from the iTunes App Store for £4.99.
