We’re getting closer now to the launch of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here as Ant & Dec are slowly but surely making their way to Gwrych Castle in Abergele, North Wales in some comical promos on ITV.
In the latest promo for the show Ant and Dec settle down for a local ‘Aussie’ meal but end up with “Welsh Cakes” from Sydney!
The Journey to Gwrych Castle so far
In the first Ant & Dec TV promo that was launched for the show saw Ant & Dec being dropped off by a Taxi, the pair thinking they were in New South Wales thank the drive with a bag of money, the driver replies in Welsh, but those eagle-eyed viewers, or should that be eared, will have noticed that the driver has a South Wales dialect.
Not long after our first introduction of the boys heading to Gwrych Castle a new promo arrived, this time after news that the red phone box had arrived at the Castle in Abergele, Ant & Dec find a phone box on the route and decide to phone Kiosk Kev for some help.
After the call Ant & Dec precede to continue in what appear to be the wrong direct as a sign for the Castle is seen pointing in the other direction, the gag of them thinking they are still in New South Wales and heading North is a great way to add the comedy to the promos and as we now all now they are shooting the promos in South Wales!

Continuing there journey we had another promo as Ant & Dec were seen crossing a bridge in what appeared to be the typical winter weather we have here in Wales, keeping dry in their “canaries” type rain macs they decide to ask their phone for some help to find the new I’m a Celebrity camp.
So as Ant & Dec continue to Gwrych Castle we are wondering what their next TV promo will be and what will the final one be as they arrive in Abergele, North Wales for the first-ever UK I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here in the 20 seasons that the show has been running, only time will tell, suffice to say we are very excited about the show coming to Wales on the 15th November.
Don’t miss A Jungle Story with Ant And Dec on the 8th November.
