With the latest Annabelle movie well on its way and the new we posted the other week about being able to babysit the doll from Annabelle: Creation, we bring you some hilarious footage etc of a few celebrities looking after the terrifying doll.
Screams of celebrities could be heard ringing across East London this week when the Annabelle Creation horror experience opened its doors in Stratford resulting in some hilarious scares!
Warner Bros Pictures and New Line Cinema invited the bravest to the ultimate scare challenge of babysitting Annabelle, ahead of the release of Annabelle: Creation, the next chapter in the The Conjuring universe.
Celebrities attending the opening night included Inbetweener James Buckley, Made in Chelsea stars Lucy Watson, Tina Stinnes and Olivia Bentley, popstar Talia Storm, sisters Lauryn and Amelia Goodman and scream queen Nikki Grahame of Big Brother fame.
Tina Stinnes from Made in Chelsea and Love Island said: “I don’t think I’ve ever been so scared in my entire life”
Nikki Grahame said “it’s a total relief that it’s all over I thought I was just getting caught up in this like terror… this horror”
Talia Storm said: “it was amazing. I was not expecting that. I think you’re so hyped up before it that you’re going to be scared sh*tless, but it’s actually such an enjoyable experience because you’re ridiculously frightened but it was really really fun. I can’t take the smile off my face!”
Clair Meeks, who attended with husband James Buckley, said: “It was so scary, and for a second you forget that it’s not real”
Radio 1Xtra’s Yasmin Evans said “I felt like I was in the film! Very, very good”
The immersive horror experience, conjured up by some of the creative team behind David Copperfield and featuring actual props from the hotly anticipated new film Annabelle: Creation, opening in cinemas across the U.K. on 11th August, combines magic effects, theatrical sound and lighting and immersive theatre to give visitors the fright of their lives. It has been brought to life in close consultation with the filmmakers, including director David F. Sandberg.
Taking place in a creepy, purpose-built Victorian mansion on the site of the Old Town Hall in Stratford, Annabelle’s House promises to give guests the most nail-biting twenty minutes of their lives using fright techniques prepared especially for this challenge.
In “Annabelle: Creation,” several years after the tragic death of their little girl, a dollmaker and his wife welcome a nun and several girls from a shuttered orphanage into their home, soon becoming the target of the dollmaker’s possessed creation, Annabelle.
Annabelle: Creation is in UK Cinemas from the 11 August.
