With Halloween just around the corner, we will get to celebrate the spooky season a little early with Cineworld as they have announced Secret Screaming 3 which will be taking place on September 23rd. With this being the third Secret Screaming it’s time to speculate on what the film could be. The age certificate for the upcoming screening is listed as TBC (To Be Confirmed) on the website. While the listed runtime is only 90 minutes, this could be a red herring. The previous Secret Screaming was the brilliant Cuckoo.
I always find secret screenings to be incredibly exciting. As we enter the cinema, we have no idea what the movie will be and we love the surprise. The Cineworld Secret Screaming is open to non-Unlimited members, so now everyone gets the chance to experience the same treat that we Unlimited Members enjoy during the Unlimited Secret Screenings from time to time.
With the news of the Cineworld Secret Screaming 3, we thought we would take the opportunity to see what film could be shown that is on later this month.
Horror movies are certainly on the rise in the cinemas lately and it’s great to see the genre back, so it’s going to be interesting to see what we will be getting to see, but for now here are some possible movies.
Apartment 7A – September 27
Terry Gionoffrio dreams of fame and fortune in New York City, but after suffering an injury, an older, wealthy couple welcomes her into their home in Bramford. When she receives an offer at another chance at fame, it seems that all her dreams are coming true. However, disturbing circumstances soon have her second-guessing the sacrifices she’s willing to make for her career as she realizes that something evil is living not only in Apartment 7A, but in the Bramford itself. Although it has been mentioned that Apartment 7A will go straight to Paramount+ you just never know if we will get a sneaky peak.
Never Let Go – September 27 (Movie Show)
When an unspeakable evil takes over the world, a mother and her twin sons find their only protection in their house and their strong bond. Needing to stay connected at all times, even tethering themselves with ropes, they must cling to one another and never let go. However, when one of the boys questions if the evil is real, the ties that bind them together are severed, triggering a terrifying fight for survival.

Bagman – September 27
When a sinister threat from his childhood returns to haunt him, a father desperately struggles against his deepest inner fear. Only this time, the fight isn’t for himself; it’s for his family.
Azrael – September 27
In a world where no one speaks, a devout female-led community hunts down a young woman who has escaped imprisonment. Recaptured, Azrael is due to be sacrificed to an ancient evil in the wilderness, but fights for her own survival.
Oddity – October 3
Following the savage murder of her twin sister, Darcy seeks vengeance by harnessing the power of haunted artifacts against those accountable.
Salem’s Lot – October 3
A new version of the Stephen King classic. Author Ben Mears returns to his childhood home of Jerusalem’s Lot in search of inspiration for his next book only to discover his hometown is being preyed upon by a bloodthirsty vampire.
Smile 3 – October 18
Released in 2022, the horror-chiller “Smile” turned out to be a surprising sleeper hit. It was written and directed by Parker Finn, and it tells the story of a hideous curse that manifests in the form of a demonic rictus grin.
The much-awaited sequel is looking much more intense than its predecessor and even the trailer is enough to send a shiver down your spine!
Movies That Are Far Off but You Never Know!
These are the wildcards for the Cineworld Secret Screaming 3 as they are pushing way past September 23rd, but you never know if we could be getting to a very early “screaming” of a film that is into August, it has been known in the past for Cineworld to treat us with a film a month in advance. So here are my wildcard possibilities for the Secret Screaming 3.
Terrifier 3 – October 11
This is a bit of a long shot as Cineworld will be showing a double bill of gory and stomach-churning movies featuring Art the Clown on the 27th, but you never know. Fans of the Terrifier movies may get an early preview of the shocker!
Heretic – November 22
We’ve been teased a few times with the trailer for Heretic at Cineworld lately, this unnerving feature starring Hugh Grant in a rather creepy role is looking like it could be one of those movies that will surprise us when it hits the cinema screens.
Some ideas on what the Cineworld Secret Screaming 3 could be. It could even be something very unexpected!
