Cineworld has just announced Secret Screaming 6, which is set to take place at a Cineworld near you on May 27th. As this marks the sixth instalment in the Secret Screaming series, it’s time to speculate about which film will be featured. The age certificate for the upcoming screening is currently listed as TBC (To Be Confirmed) on the website. Although the runtime is noted as 90 minutes, this might be misleading. For reference, the previous Secret Screaming on the 17th of February was The Monkey.
I always find secret screenings incredibly exciting. We have no idea what the movie will be as we enter the cinema, and we love the surprise. The Cineworld Secret Screaming is open to non-Unlimited members, so now everyone gets the chance to experience the same treat that we Unlimited Members enjoy during the Unlimited Secret Screenings from time to time.
With the news of the Cineworld Secret Screaming 6, we thought we would take the opportunity to see what film could be shown for the latest “Screaming” for 2025 but with not much being released in the horror genre during May it seems that we only have a few choices of what the movie could be, we will update the page if there are any other movies that could be popping up.
Waktu Maghrib 2 (May 28)
The rise and terror of the evil genie, namely Jin Ummu Sibyan. The mystical events in this take place after a period of 20 years.
Bring Her Back (May 29)
A brother and sister uncover a terrifying ritual at the secluded home of their new foster mother.
The Ritual (June 6) – The Film That Was Shown
“The Ritual” is an upcoming American horror film directed by David Midell, who co-wrote the screenplay with Enrico Natale. Based on a true story, the film follows priests Theophilus Riesinger (played by Al Pacino) and Joseph Steiger (played by Dan Stevens) as they put aside their differences to save a young woman named Emma Schmidt (portrayed by Abigail Cowen), who is believed to be possessed. The priests undertake a series of perilous exorcisms to help her.

Clown in a Cornfield (June 6)
Clown in a Cornfield is a 2025 American slasher film directed by Eli Craig and written by Craig and Carter Blanchard. It is based on the 2020 novel by Adam Cesare, and stars Katie Douglas, Aaron Abrams, Carson MacCormac, Kevin Durand, and Will Sasso.
Dangerous Animals (Jun 12)
When Zephyr, a savvy and free-spirited surfer, is abducted by a shark-obsessed serial killer and held captive on his boat, she must figure out how to escape before he carries out a ritualistic feeding to the sharks.
Our wildcard option is 28 Years Later (Jun 20)
A group of survivors of the rage virus lives on a small island. When one of the group leaves the island on a mission into the mainland, he discovers secrets, wonders, and horrors that have mutated not only the infected but also other survivors.
That’s our thought on what the Cineworld Secret Screaming 6 could be. It could even be something very unexpected! But with not many other horrors being released in May, these are our predictions (at the moment).
