We are presented with a vocal talent that channels each of her multiple registers, possessing a deep alto to set the mood while exploding with a slight soprano as she hits those high, accentuating notes in the recapitulation of her central theme.
Contrast this with some very clever guitar work highlighting each cadence and a team of backup singers giving the main melody its choral feel. These verse/chorus sections start to explode from the speakers and captivate the audience into wanting more.

What stood out on the first listen and is now inescapable with the many replays I have since is the intelligent use of silence between rhythm figures.
Jessica Lynn can resolve each cadence with silent tension without drawing out the long notes. Her band’s professionalism and musical mastery catch the unheard upbeat to explode back in the next section.
The Morning Always Comes would be a perfect addition to any commercial Country, Gospel, or Adult Contemporary radio playlist. The tried and tested formulas executed in this gem pay tribute to the artist’s performance in question. With an already impressive stream count since its release on July 22, and the incredible reception the video has received, it is without question The Morning Always Comes will be seeing much success and opening many new doors for Jessica Lynn within this genre.
