From Canvey Island to Cannes – ManFish Signs with Moviehouse Entertainment

In a new Blazing Minds exclusive we are pleased to bring you the news regarding the comedy-horror fan favourite Manfish which has now been signed up with Moviehouse Entertainment.

Written and directed by Marc Coleman, ManFish has already developed a cult following amongst horror fans following its premiere at the Horror-on-Sea in January 2022. Since then, it has gone on to play in North Carolina at the brilliant Nevermore Film Festival as well as playing to a SOLD-OUT crowd and winning BEST FEATURE at The Romford Horror Film Festival.

As one of the very few truly independent film sales and production companies operating in London, Moviehouse Entertainment will be taking ManFish to the major film markets around Europe including Cannes and Berlin.

Moviehouse recently looked after Jason Mewes’ feature directorial debut Madness In The Method (2019)as well as producing the brilliant comedy Funny Cow (2017) starring Maxine Peake and Paddy Considine.

Writer-director Marc Coleman had the following to say about the collaboration with Moviehouse Entertainment “I’m over the moon to be working with Gary Philips and Mark Vennis at Moviehouse Entertainment. They’ve both been in the business for many years and know their stuff. They really like the film and are excited to get it out there into the world – as are we. These things always work best when you can establish a partnership and that’s what I feel like we have with Moviehouse. All being well, ManFish will be on streaming services around the world towards the end of 2022 and into 2023”.

Marc Coleman and Double Dinner Films are developing another horror comedy currently titled Wet Dreams which will begin shooting in January 2023

Having already received a 5-star review from nerdly.co.uk and was praised highly by the guys at pophorror.com, ManFish has been entered into several festivals around the UK. We will keep you updated regarding the news and where the film will be playing next.
