Remembering the Movies with Aljaz and Janette in Their New Show

Time for some new shows for you today dear readers, as we bring you the news of the new show from Aljaz & Janette, Remembering the Movies.

Strictly Come Dancing’s very own Aljaz and Janette are back on tour in 2019 with their brand new show. If you loved the ‘Remembering Fred’ tour, which celebrated the iconic actor, singer and dancer Fred Astaire, then get ready for a remarkable, unique and star-studded rollercoaster ride through some of the most successful, Oscar-winning and most memorable films of all time.

From the Golden Age of Hollywood through to the modern mega-musical. Enjoy tributes to Audrey Hepburn, Saturday Night Fever, Gene Kelly, The Greatest Showman, Marilyn Monroe, La La Land, James Bond, Cabaret and many, many more…

Strap in, hold tight and allow yourself to fall in love all over again with the classic movie songs and dance routines, as Strictly Come Dancing’s favourite couple celebrate the history of the movies with dazzling choreography, imaginative sets, spectacular backdrops, huge multimedia LED screen and supported by an incredible cast of live singers and dancers.

This show is guaranteed to have you… remembering the movies.

Aljaz Skorjanec and Janette Manrara joined the roster of Strictly Come Dancing’s professionals in 2013. Aljaz won their debut series with model Abby Clancy; he has since partnered with the likes of Alison Hammond, Helen George, Daisy Lowe and Gemma Atkinson. Janette’s celebrity partners have included Peter Andre, Julien McDonald and Aston Merrygold – she came fifth in series 12 partnering with EastEnders actor Jake Wood. The couple are both returning for the 2018 series.

Aljaz & Janette’s ‘Remembering The Movies’ will be dancing its way on to the Venue Cymru stage on Thursday 21st March 2019, 7.30pm. Tickets on general sale from 10.00am, Friday 7th September from www.venuecymru.co.uk and via the Box Office on 01492 872000.
