Since we posted this news, Christopher Judge has now cancelled. But a new guest has been added to replace Judge at SFW9.
I know lots of people reading the title of this article that will now be thinking, “Quick I need tickets for SFW9!”, the news that Christopher Judge will be attending the 9th Sci Fi & Fantasy Weekender is something Stargate fans will be jumping for joy about.
Can you all believe that in just seven months, yes seven, a lot of us will be beaming over to Pwllheli for the event that many of us wish would never end when we are there.
Blazing Minds has been told that the SFW team has been working hard behind the scenes, reaching out, contacting and generally nudging everything along in the right direction, to bring SFW fans more fun, Sci Fi and craziness that mind wondering, the heart ticking and the excitement to the point exploding like a supernova!
So here at Blazing Minds we are delighted and excited to bring you the announcement that Christopher Judge, who starred as Teal’c in Stargate SG-1, as well as appearing in Andromeda, Stargate Atlantis, The Mentalist, and as one of Bane’s henchmen in The Dark Knight Rises, will be joining Ingvild Deila (Rogue One), Colin Baker (Doctor Who), Hugh Quarshie (The Phantom Menace, Highlander, Doctor Who), and Alistair Petrie (Rogue One) at the event,
Joining Kevin J Anderson on the Author Track is best-selling writer Steven Savile. Now living and working in Sweden, Steven has written for Doctor Who, Torchwood, Primeval, Stargate, Warhammer, Slaine, Fireborn, Pathfinder, Arkham Horror, Risen, and other popular game and comic worlds. His novels have been published in eight languages to date, including the Italian bestseller L’eridita.

Good friends of Blazing Minds, Telos Publishing will also be hosting a launch for the superb debut horror novel, Diviner, from Dawn Harris, an author whose work has been described by Ramsey Campbell as ‘a psychic nightmare that gives us uncanny glimpses of the truth and snares us with a web of mystery before revealing the dark side of a favourite myth’, and by Graham Masterton as ‘the debut of a shining and unusual new writing talent’. Dawn will also be appearing at the event.
More authors, guests and artists will be announced as they are confirmed for the event, and as with SFW9, there will be a full and packed schedule of events taking place from the Thursday afternoon to late Saturday night/Sunday morning. Suffice to say that Blazing Minds will be over at SFW9 and nerding out with fellow SFW friends.
