The Nun is about to terrify us all over again in the new Trailer
Those of you that have been visiting Blazing Minds for a while will have seen my reviews of The Conjuring and The Conjuring 2, movies which I really enjoyed, in the second move we had that rather unnerving scene with The Nun and shortly after the films release the news of the character having a spin-off movie was announced.
Recently Warner Bros. has been teasing us with the news of the movie and yesterday the poster was released with the release date of The Nun, which is September 7, even the poster is a little unnerving of this shadowy figure.
When a young nun at a cloistered abbey in Romania takes her own life, a priest with a haunted past and a novitiate on the threshold of her final vows are sent by the Vatican to investigate. Together they uncover the order’s unholy secret. Risking not only their lives but their faith and their very souls, they confront a malevolent force in the form of the same demonic nun that first terrorized audiences in “The Conjuring 2,” as the abbey becomes a horrific battleground between the living and the damned.
“The Nun” stars Oscar-nominated Demian Bichir (“A Better Life”) as Father Burke, Taissa Farmiga (TV’s “American Horror Story”) as Sister Irene, and Jonas Bloquet (“Elle”) as local villager Frenchie.
The cast also includes Charlotte Hope (TV’s “Game of Thrones”) as the abbey’s Sister Victoria, Ingrid Bisu (“Toni Erdmann”) as Sister Oana, and Bonnie Aarons, reprising her “Conjuring 2” role as the title character.
Directed by Corin Hardy (The Hallow) and written by Gary Dauberman (IT (2017), Annabelle: Creation) and James Wan (The Conjuring 2), Richard Brener, Walter Hamada, Dave Neustadter, Gary Dauberman, Michael Clear and Todd Williams are the executive producers. it certainly has the talent to bring some screams to the cinemas when it is released in September.
