Fans of the 28 Days Later franchise have reason to celebrate: the much-anticipated trailer for 28 Years Later has officially been released, reigniting interest in the iconic zombie-horror saga. Directed by Danny Boyle and written by Alex Garland, the original 28 Days Later redefined the zombie genre with its gritty realism and frenetic pacing, while its sequel, 28 Weeks Later, built on that success with a larger scope and darker tone. Now, after years of speculation, the third instalment is finally on the horizon.

There has been a lot of speculation when the trailer dropped that the scene with the ‘Emaciated Infected’ was Cillian Murphy, but it has been revealed that the part is played by a London Art Dealer called Angus Neill, now we’re not sure how this scene will play out in the actual movie, but suffice to say it’s got us very much intrigued to see how this fits in with Murphy’s character in the release of the movie.
