Farewell To Rhyl’s Honey Club as it Makes Way For a Hotel

The former night club and favourite haunt for many in Rhyl, The Honey Club, has been demolished.

Many people from the town and surrounding areas remember the club as Rosie O’Gradys, but now the building that has been in Rhyl for as many years as I can remember has finally been pulled down to make way for a new 60 room hotel and restaurant.

I was there today watching the building as it was bulldozed down and it was sad to see the building coming down and as I watched the crowds of people were turning up to watch the end of an era and another Rhyl building coming to the end of its life.

Traffic was slowing down as drivers dropped to a crawl to see the building club down, which in turn did cause a little congestion of the coast road of Rhyl.
