Zootopolis 2 – Dec 10 – Dec 18

Rookie cops Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde find themselves on the twisting trail of a great mystery when pit viper Gary De’Snake arrives in Zootropolis and turns the animal metropolis upside down in Walt Disney Animation Studios’ all-new animated comedy-adventure. To crack the case, Judy and Nick must go undercover to unexpected new parts of town, where their growing partnership is tested like never before. There’s plenty of action, humour, and surprises as this unlikely rabbit and fox duo attempt to redeem their reputations, solve Zootropolis’ biggest and oldest mystery, and prove that they can work together as a team.

Wicked: For Good – Dec 10 – Dec 18

Last year’s global cinematic cultural sensation, which became the most successful Broadway film adaptation of all time, now reaches its epic, electrifying, emotional conclusion in Wicked: For Good

Directed once again by award-winning director Jon M. Chu and starring the spectacular returning cast, led by superstars Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, the final chapter of the untold story of the witches of Oz begins with Elphaba and Glinda estranged and living with the consequences of their choices. Elphaba, now demonized as The Wicked Witch of the West, lives in exile, hidden within the Ozian forest while continuing her fight for the freedom of Oz’s silenced Animals and desperately trying to expose the truth she knows about The Wizard. Glinda, meanwhile, has become the glamorous symbol of Goodness for all of Oz, living at the palace in Emerald City and reveling in the perks of fame and popularity. Under the instruction of Madame Morrible, Glinda is deployed to serve as an effervescent comfort to Oz, reassuring the masses that all is well under the rule of The Wizard.

As Glinda’s stardom expands and she prepares to marry Prince Fiyero in a spectacular Ozian wedding, she is haunted by her separation from Elphaba. She attempts to broker a conciliation between Elphaba and The Wizard, but those efforts will fail, driving Elphaba and Glinda only further apart. The aftershocks will transform Boq and Fiyero forever, and threaten the safety of Elphaba’s sister, Nessarose, when a girl from Kansas comes crashing into all their lives. As an angry mob rises against the Wicked Witch, Glinda and Elphaba will need to come together one final time. With their singular friendship now the fulcrum of their futures, they will need to truly see each other, with honesty and empathy, if they are to change themselves, and all of Oz, for good.

Five Nights at Freddys 2 – Dec 10 – Dec 18

In 2023, Blumhouse’s box-office horror phenomenon based on the blockbuster game series became the highest-grossing horror of the year. Now, a shocking new chapter of animatronic terror begins… and they’re not just at Freddy’s anymore. One year has passed since the supernatural nightmare at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. The stories of what transpired there have been twisted into local legend, but former security guard Mike and police officer Vanessa have kept the truth from Mike’s eleven-year-old sister, Abby. When Abby sneaks out to find Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy, she sets into motion a terrifying chain of events, revealing dark secrets about the true origin of Freddy’s, and unleashing a long-forgotten horror.

Fackham Hall – Dec 12 – Dec 18

A British comedy from comedian turned screenwriter Jimmy Carr. Mistaken identities, forbidden love, and one very inconvenient corpse turn the grand English manor of Fackham Hall into total bedlam in this comedy of class, romance, manners, and mischief. From the director of Catastrophe, Jim O’Hanlon; the hilarious story of a pickpocket who blags his way into service at the grand Fackham Hall, only to fall for the Lord’s rebellious daughter who is betrothed to marry another to keep the family from financial ruin.

Home Alone – Dec 13

Eight-year-old Kevin McCallister has become the man of the house, overnight! Accidentally left behind when his family rushes off on a Christmas vacation, Kevin gets busy decorating the house for the holidays. But he’s not decking the halls with tinsel and holly. Two bumbling burglars are trying to break in, and Kevin’s rigging a bewildering battery of booby traps to welcome!

Elf – Dec 14

The best way to spread holiday cheer is singing loud for all to hear! 

One Christmas Eve a long time ago, a baby crawled into Santa’s bag of toys… Raised as an elf, Buddy grows into an adult three times larger than the biggest elf – and realises that he will never truly fit in at the North Pole. Buddy goes looking for his true place in the world – in New York City. Buddy finds his workaholic father  – who’s on Santa’s “naughty” list, a new mother and a ten-year-old brother who doesn’t believe in Santa Claus or elves. Here, now, Buddy discovers his destiny – to save Christmas for New York and the world!

The Choral – Dec 15

1916. As war rages on the Western Front, the Choral Society in Ramsden, Yorkshire has lost most of its men to the army. The Choral’s ambitious committee, determined to press ahead, decides to recruit local young males to swell their ranks. They must also engage a new chorus master, and despite their suspicions that he has something to hide, their best bet seems to be Dr Henry Guthrie – driven, uncompromising, and recently returned from a career in Germany. As conscription papers start to arrive, the whole community discovers that the best response to the chaos that is laying waste to their lives is to make music together. Ralph Fiennes leads this stirring celebration of resilience and community spirit, directed by Nicholas Hytner and written by BAFTA and Tony Award-winner Alan Bennett.
