Great news for fans of Marvel’s rather foul-mouthed anti-hero, Deadpool, that had fans leaving cinemas last year more excited than a bag of crazed cats and wanting more, we now have a date for Deadpool 2!
The first movie ended up being one of the highest grossing R-rated movies of all time when it was released, the movie saw the “Merc with the Mouth” on the big screen as fans really wanted him, not the one that was in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, but with the quick fire sarcasm and one liners, plus the technique of breaking the “fourth wall” during the movie, oh and let’s not forget the rather unorthodox opening credits!
With the news of the Zazie Beetz playing Domino and the rather strange decision to have Josh Brolin as Cable, which seems very bizarre as we now all know him as Thanos in the Avengers series of movies, but hey this is Hollywood, so anything can happen. Plus David Leitch will be directing Deadpool 2 if the name rings a bell, then that’s because he directed the fantastic John Wick!

It has also rumoured that TJ Miller will be playing Weasel. Also rejoining Ryan Reynolds will be Brianna Hildebrand (Negasonic Teenage Warhead), Leslie Uggams (Blind Al) and Stefan Kapicic (Colossus – Voice).
There is also news of more sequels heading our way from 20th Century Fox as they have announced that the Marvel Universe is going to get bigger in 2018 as we will be getting a couple of X-Men spin-offs with X-Men: New Mutants in 13 April (No UK Release date yet) and X-Men: Dark Phoenix, a follow-up to X-Men: Apocalypse, which should be heading to cinemas in the US on 2 November 2018 (no UK release date yet).
Deadpool 2 is scheduled to hit UK cinemas on the 1 June 2018, but as we all know sometimes dates change, but pencil this one in your diaries folks and prepare for more foul-mouthed madness from the “Merc with the Mouth“!
