Nick Roberts stars as Michael Walker has turned his back on his Special Ops past and is about to start a family with his beautiful wife Claudia. This really is a violent gangster movie. Some scenes are very gory and the special effects are really good.
The storyline is ok but it is what you expect from the start really. It could really do without the sexual violent scene however as this really is not needed for the film and I thought the scene did go on a bit too much, maybe this was to make the film last a little longer or just to carry out the story a bit more. But without this scene I would have probably enjoyed the story a little bit more.
I thought the acting was very mediocre and the film was very predictable, which is a shame because it does have the potential to be a great movie.
Some of the violent scenes are really not necessary as the storyline pacts a punch on its own. That aside I did find it quite enjoyable for the most part and if you like violent gangster movies then you would probably enjoy this. If you are a fan of violent, gory and gangster movies then you will definitely enjoy this.
It kind of have a feel of a Hollywood action movie however it felt like it was missing something. The action scenes were ok but the continuity errors really are noticeable which I don’t usually see in a film.
The movie also stars Giovanni Lombardo Radice (Cannibal Ferox, City of the living dead, The Omen), Dan Van Husen (Band of Brothers, Nosferatu), Jeff Stewart (The Bill, Dead Man Running), Dani Thompson and Tina Barnes. They really make this film quite enjoyable but at the same time very predictable. I think it is once watched a never repeated kind of film for me.
This is a shame as I really enjoy a good action movie with a good storyline. If it had less violence and gore maybe I would have enjoyed it more.
