It’s such a sad post to bring you today as the news has been released that US actor Chadwick Boseman, best known for playing Black Panther has died at the young age of 43 from Colon Cancer.
Chadwick who is best known as his role as T’Challa/Black Panther and for his starring roles in as several pioneering Americans, Jackie Robinson in 42 (2013), James Brown in Get on Up (2014), and Thurgood Marshall in Marshall (2017). He also had choice parts in The Express (2008), Draft Day (2014), and Message from the King (2016) died at his home in Los Angeles with his wife and family by his side.
The statement on the official social media accounts read:
“Chadwick was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer in 2016, and battled with it these last 4 years as it progressed to stage IV, “the tweet read. “A true fighter, Chadwick persevered through it all, and brought you many of the films you have come to love so much. From Marshall to Da 5 Bloods, August Wilson’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and several more, all were filmed during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy.”
Chadwick Boseman kept is life outside of the movies very private, he was diagnosed four years ago but did not make the information public and continued to work on numerous hit films whilst undergoing treatment.
