Blazing Minds Becomes Press Partner for the 2023 International Film Festival

We have some fantastic news for you today as we are very pleased to announce that Blazing Minds has become the Press Partner for the Wicked Wales International Film Festival 2023.

It’s a real honour to have been asked on board with a superb team for the festival, many of you will have seen us mention a meeting we were heading to the other day and this was to sort out us getting onboard to become part of this year’s prestigious event, we will be bringing our knowledge of the world of blogging about movies and much more to the event and working closely with the Wicked Wales team running up to and during the Festival.

Who are Wicked Wales?

From the very beginning in 1997 when the Pop In Centre in Prestatyn, North Wales was first opened, the importance of providing creative experiences and visual learning for young people was then we have delivered annual arts and film festivals, appreciated. Every year since opportunities for young volunteers and a year-round programme of arts and media activities.

Eight years ago Wicked Wales was developed to deliver an annual International Youth Film Festival. At that time there were 4 Youth Film Festivals in Wales.

Currently, they are the only youth film festival to survive.

Their work has always been reliant on project funding, they have never received core funding. Their work is delivered by a team of freelancers who are engaged as funding becomes available.
