With 2025 just around the corner, Cineworld has announced Secret Screaming 4 which will be taking place on January 27th. With this being the fourth Secret Screaming it’s time to speculate on what the film could be. The age certificate for the upcoming screening is listed as TBC (To Be Confirmed) on the website. While the listed runtime is only 120 minutes, this could be a red herring. The previous Secret Screaming was Never Let Go.
I always find secret screenings to be incredibly exciting. As we enter the cinema, we have no idea what the movie will be and we love the surprise. The Cineworld Secret Screaming is open to non-Unlimited members, so now everyone gets the chance to experience the same treat that we Unlimited Members enjoy during the Unlimited Secret Screenings from time to time.
With the news of the Cineworld Secret Screaming 4, we thought we would take the opportunity to see what film could be shown for the first “Screaming” for 2025.
Horror movies are certainly on the rise in the cinemas lately and it’s great to see the genre back, so it’s going to be interesting to see what we will be getting to see, but for now here are some possible movies.
Screamboat (Jan 30)
A late-night boat ride turns into a desperate fight for survival in New York City when a mischievous mouse becomes a monstrous reality. Can a motley crew survive a killer creature with a taste for tourists? This is one for horror fans as it features David Howard Thornton (Art the Clown in the Terrifier franchise).

A billionaire’s death sets off a chain of events for Iris and her friends during a weekend trip to his lakeside estate.
Psycho Night (Jan TBC)
A wrongfully convicted rapper is released from prison and comes home to a lifetime opportunity. He has won a place on a dark web game where music executives run the show to win a recording contract.
The Baby in the Basket (Feb 17)
A baby in a basket is left on the steps of an isolated monastery on a Scottish island. The nuns take it in, planning to care for it until a storm passes. Soon though, strange and unexplained events begin to happen at the convent.
The Monkey (Feb 21)
When twin brothers Bill and Hal find their father’s old monkey toy in the attic, a series of gruesome deaths start. The siblings decide to throw the toy away and move on with their lives, growing apart over the years.
The Abomination of Frankenstein (Feb TBC)
A small town in 1976 is plagued with mysterious murders, suddenly an eccentric young woman arrives to town and leases a large old building. The woman is Isabella Frankenstein, there to create a creature for her strange desires.
