Doctor Proctor’s Fart Powder is based on first book in the hilarious series from the best-selling author Jo Nesbø. The live-action family film, from the distributors of StreetDance, Allstars and Horrid Henry: The Movie, comes blasting into UK cinemas from July 2015.
The story follows the brilliantly funny and wonderfully weird Doctor Proctor, who has finally created something to help him fulfil his dream of becoming a famous inventor – a super-strength fart powder that can propel people into outer space! And with the help of his new neighbour Nilly, and Nilly’s friend Lisa, Doctor Proctor’s Fart Powder is ready to go worldwide! But ruthless twins Truls and Trym are determined to get hold of the powder for themselves. Their plot to spoil the Doctor’s plans sparks a fart-filled adventure involving a firework extravaganza, a trip to prison and an escaped anaconda.
Reminiscent of Roald Dahl, this first adaptation from the Doctor Proctor series brings its own style of quirkiness to the big screen. A story for kids, big or small, this is one fart-tastic film not to be missed when it comes to cinemas July 31st 2015.
