A film directed by Dorenus, and screenplay devised by Dorenus and Jardine Libaire. One that supposedly did not rely on scripts, and was improvised throughout the film. You can see that throughout some scenes, that do look a little awkward, but do work with the scenario at that point of the film.

The film has an all-star trio cast of Jamie Dornan, Shailene Woodley and Sebastian Stan. With other cast members such as Matthew Gray Gubler, Lindsay Sloane, Kyra Sedgwick, Wendie Malick, amongst others.

Shailene Woodley plays Daphne, a woman who’s life has changed completely. Daphne has given up her job, split with her boyfriend Adrian (played by Matthew Gray Gubler), and given up alcohol.

Daphne is starting her new life back at her sister Billy’s Pool house. Daphne from the moment she moves in, swears she dating and alcohol.

Within six months at her sisters New Year’s Eve party, Daphne soon meets Frank (played by Sebastian Stan) and becomes somewhat attracted to him, and then later that evening, meets Jack (played by Jamie Dornan), and Daphne becomes attracted to Jack also.

Daphne ultimately finds out that Jack and Frank are best friends, and therein develops a complicated situation. With a strong cast trio of Jamie Dornan, Shailene Woodley and Sebastian Stan, I think the film works with improvisation.

There are moments of flashbacks from Daphne’s past, which the viewer learns more about her character. You can relate to her hurt, pain and why she started anew.

Daphne is a character that some women would be able to relate to, having a relationship breakdown, and then starting over. Obviously Daphne was not expecting to be attracted to two men, let alone two best friends.

This is a lovely romantic drama that looks at 20-30’s characters lives, with some kind of depth and seriousness. There are some sex scenes with the very attractive cast, but to be honest, these are not explicit but are rather hot, to say the least.

The title of the film is what it is, Endings, Beginnings. The ending of something, to the beginnings of something.

I thoroughly enjoyed this film, and I am a massive fan of the strong cast trio of Jamie Dornan, Shailene Woodley and Sebastian Stan. It was so lovely, in particular, Jamie Dornan and Sebastian Stan in something from different from their franchises, Jamie Dornan As Christian Grey with “Fifty Shades of Grey“ franchise, and Sebastian Stan With Bucky Barnes “Captain America” franchise as well as both Avengers Infinity War” and “Avengers Endgame”.
It goes to show that these talented actors can adapt to any role, and are not typecast at all. They put their all into this film, especially with it not being fully scripted.

Shailene Woodley portrayed Daphne beautifully onto our screens, and I felt personally that I could really relate. Cry, when she cried, Laugh, when she laughed, just to go through all emotions with her. Beautiful.
I have rated Endings, Beginnings, a 4 out of 5, just a little something missing, but overall a well established Romantic Drama.
