Tails is not a white-collar gentlemen’s club. It’s a borderline-legal bar with topless dancers and a back room where anything goes for the right price. Nick, the owner, keeps Tails afloat by taking advantage of the desperate women who dance for money and the desperate men who pay for female attention. When a dead body shows up in the bathroom, Nick’s control begins to unravel. Hunted by an ambitious, relentless cop, Nick’s enemies begin to surround him. He must decide how many friends to sacrifice in order to save himself.
We caught up with Harley to chat about the Tale of Tails.
Harley told us, “I was approached by Tevis Marcum and Steve Kopera with a great concept of the life of this self-absorbed conman who runs a strip club and gets himself into a whole lot of trouble. I was immediately interested in experiencing being Nick but felt there needed to be more dimensions and subplots. We started working on a new and improved storyline and suddenly it felt like it writes itself. We’re with Mike and Courtney Hamilton and put Kaiti Wallen in charge of production schedule and locations and started filming.“
He went on to say, “In season one we have several guest stars such as the alluring Lola played by Blanca Blanco (Betrayed) and the very edgy Francisco played by Yan Birch (The People Under the Stairs) as well as UFC/Rizin fight legend Daron Cruickshank who makes an action-packed guest appearance in season 1. Season 1 regulars also include Kaiti Wallen, Tevis Marcum, Grover McCants, Jovie Lyn, Jessika Johnson, Jimmie Chiappelli, Jerry Hayes, Brett Stanfield and Stacey Saunders.“
When it comes to the actors and crew, Harley told us, “So far the performances have been off the charts and the cinematography by Alex Gasparetto has been incredible.“
“Tale of Tails” is produced by Harley Wallen, Kaiti Wallen, Steve Kopera and Tevis Marcum who came up with the original idea to the series.
To round out the producing team is Joe Williamson, Mike and Courtney Hamilton.
Season 1 of “Tale of Tails “ is directed by Harley Wallen and Edited by Steve Kopera. Tale of Tails is expected on Amazon Prime later this year.
