Another month of releases is heading our way from Signature Entertainment as they let us know their February 2021 Movie Releases from Sci-Fi thriller to a film which has been called as a Black Mirror meets Die Hard movie.
Possessor – Blu-ray & DVD February 8th
From the visionary mind of writer director Brandon Cronenberg (Antiviral), Possessor is a game-changing sci-fi thriller about elite, corporate assassin Tasya Vos (Andrea Riseborough, Mandy). Using brain-implant technology, Vos takes control of other people’s bodies to execute high profile targets. As she sinks deeper into her latest assignment Vos becomes trapped inside a mind that threatens to obliterate her.
Possessor features a stellar cast including Christopher Abbott (It Comes at Night, The Sinner), Rossif Sutherland (Guest of Honour), Tuppence Middleton (Downton Abbey), Sean Bean (Game of Thrones) and Jennifer Jason Leigh (The Hateful Eight).

Summer of ’72 – On Digital Platforms February 1st
A beautiful yet relevant romance about love and diversity, Summer of ’72 is an allegory of America today starring Stranger Things star Natalia Dyer and Tate Donavon. Alabama, 1972. As Billy (Devon Bostick, Okja) falls for a patient (Natalia Dyer) at his father’s mental asylum, his childhood best friend becomes involved in a radical civil rights movement against Tuscaloosa’s power elite.
RAMS – Digital Platforms February 5th
The funny and touching Rams is sure to have audiences flock to see it. In remote Western Australia, two estranged brothers, Colin (Sam Neill, Jurassic Park) and Les (Michael Caton, The Castle), are at war. Raising separate flocks of sheep descended from their family’s prized bloodline, the two men work side by side yet are worlds apart.
When Les’s prize ram is diagnosed with a rare and lethal illness, authorities order a purge of every sheep in the valley. While Colin attempts to stealthily outwit the powers that be, Les opts for angry defiance. But can the warring brothers set aside their differences and have a chance to reunite their family, save their herd, and bring their community back together?
Inspired by the 2015 Icelandic film Hrútar, but very much its own piece, Rams was directed by Jeremy Sims (Last Cab to Darwin) and also stars Miranda Richardson (The Crying Game) plus Asher Keddie (X-Men Origins: Wolverine) and Wayne Blair (The Sapphires).

Danny Dyer (Eastenders) is back on top form in Assassin, a brutal, hard-hitting story of Jamie, a former hitman out for revenge. Starring Martin Kemp (The Krays), Gary Kemp (The World’s End), and from the producers of Rise of the Footsoldier and Goodfellas, Assassin is the story of the most corrupt crime bosses in the London underworld, and one man’s crusade to bring them to justice.
Eye For An Eye – Amazon Prime Video February 5th
John Travolta (Face/Off), Morgan Freeman (Olympus Has Fallen), Famke Janssen (X-Men) and Brendan Fraser (Crash) lend their talents to this searing detective thriller. Carson Philips, a hard-drinking L.A. private eye takes a case in his old hometown in Texas. While at work Philips must confront a crime boss, a shady doctor, a sexy club singer, his former lover — and his own dark, disturbing past.
Modern Persuasion – On Digital Platforms February 8th
