Hellboy is back, and he’s on fire. From the pages of Mike Mignola’s seminal work, this action-packed story sees the legendary half-demon superhero (David Harbour, “Stranger Things”) called to the English countryside to battle a trio of rampaging giants. There he discovers The Blood Queen, Nimue (Milla Jovovich, Resident Evil series), a resurrected ancient sorceress thirsting to avenge a past betrayal. Suddenly caught in a clash between the supernatural and the human, Hellboy is now hell-bent on stopping Nimue without triggering the end of the world.

Mike Mignola’s cult comic book series Hellboy, filled with a horrifying vision of monsters and mayhem, is brought to life by director Neil Marshall (The Descent, TV’s “Game of Thrones”) and stars Golden Globe® nominee David Harbour (“Stranger Things”) as the titular half-demon superhero, Hellboy.

The gritty, gory, action-packed creature film also stars Milla Jovovich (Resident Evil franchise, The Fourth Kind), Golden Globe® winner Ian McShane (John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum), Sasha Lane (American Honey), Daniel Dae Kim (TV’s “Lost,” TV’s “Hawaii Five-O,” Insurgent), and Academy Award® nominee Thomas Haden Church (TV’s “Divorce”, Spider-Man 3). Additionally, the film features the talents of Academy Award®-winning special effects makeup artist Joel Harlow (2010, Best Makeup and Hairstyling, Star Trek) and world-renowned prosthetics artist Norman Cabrera (Planet of the Apes, TV’s “The Walking Dead”), bringing Mignola’s wise-cracking demon and other creepy creatures to life.

Hellboy arrives on DVD, Blu-ray™ and 4K UHD on August 19 alongside two special edition Steelbooks featuring stunning artwork cover to cover, which both include the Blu-ray™ and 4K UHD disc. The Zavvi exclusive Steelbook also includes a unique slipcase and four exclusive art cards.
