John Travolta returns as the smart, wisecracking criminal mastermind Mason Goddard in High Rollers, a rip-roaring new thrill-a-minute heist movie that follows on from Cash Out. This time, he’s back with his crew for a higher-than-high-stakes mission for money. Directed by Randall Emmett, the film is set for its UK debut this Summer thanks to 101 Films.
After Mason Goddard’s crew barely managed to escape their last daring, dangerous and chaotic bank robbery, they’re finally calling it quits… once more.
But things don’t quite go to plan, when they reunite for a wedding to celebrate the nuptials of one of their own, Mason’s true love Amelia Decker (Gershon) is kidnapped by the henchmen of the world’s most powerful criminal – Abel Salzar. The gang need money quickly and lots of it… so they’re forced to pull off the most dangerous heist they’ve ever attempted.
The location is one most exclusive casinos on earth, and there’s a huge catch… It’s owned by Salzar’s younger brother, who also happens to be a psychopath.
So, Mason does what he does best and expertly impersonates a high roller, but he quickly finds himself embroiled in an elite poker game. But this is not just any old card game, it comes with the ultimate stakes… literally life or death.
With the FBI hot on their trail, Mason and his team must use all their wits and wiles, with a little muscle thrown in, to pull off the heist of a lifetime, while navigating a murderous family feud that could be the end of the road for all of them.
