Some more movie news for you today with the new trailer and poster for the upcoming Sky Cinema Original Films, the thriller The Hurricane Heist from writer and director Rob Cohen (xXx, The Fast & The Furious), the movie will be released in UK and Irish cinemas on 6th April as well on the Sky Cinema platform.
The Hurricane Heist stars Toby Kebbell (Kong: Skull Island), Maggie Grace (Taken), Ryan Kwanten (True Blood) and Ralph Ineson (The Witch, Game of Thrones).
It’s going to be time for a non-stop, all-out, action movie in April, as The Hurricane Heist blows it’s way to a big screen and a small screen near you, as an unstoppable and deadly hurricane bears down on the Gulf Coast of the US a mandatory emergency evacuation is underway clearing the city. The storm proves to be the perfect cover for a team of hackers to infiltrate a vulnerable Treasury facility and steal $600m.
Bracing himself for the impact of the hurricane, storm chaser and meteorologist Will (Toby Kebbell) finds himself caught up in the chaos and teams up with Casey (Maggie Grace), the only Treasury agent left standing and his wayward brother, Breeze (Ryan Kwanten). Together they must stop the ruthless thieves from pulling off the heist of a lifetime and survive the storm of the century.

Directed by Rob Cohen (xXx, The Fast & the Furious), it’s clear that this is going to be a movie that will have you on the edge of your seat with its non-stop action and death-defying stunts and special effects, we’ll certainly be keeping an out for the movie on April 6 when the movie touches down.
We’ve also heard that are some more Sky Cinema Original Films on the way including ANON in May starring Clive Owen, Amanda Seyfried and also Final Score (No release date as yet) starring Dave Bautista, Pierce Brosnan, Ray Stevenson and Martyn Ford. So more news on those when we get it.
