We have some new movie release news for you today with the announcement of the cycling drama based on a true story, Hard Miles. The movie stars Matthew Modine, Cynthia Kaye McWilliams, Leslie David Baker, Sean Astin, Jahking Guillory, Jackson Kelly, Damien Diaz and Zachary T. Robbins.
Coming-of-age sports drama Hard Miles opens in cinemas nationwide in the UK and Ireland on May 31, starring Matthew Modine (Oppenheimer, Stranger Things), Sean Astin (Stranger Things, The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers), Cynthia Kaye McWilliams, and Leslie David Baker (The Office).

Based on a true story, Modine plays Greg Townsend, a coach at a medium security correctional school in Colorado who rounds up an unlikely crew of incarcerated students to work together on a gruelling bike ride from Denver to the Grand Canyon.

The young cast is played by Jahking Guillory (On My Block), Jackson Kelly (Lessons In Chemistry, Chucky), Damien Diaz (Shameless), and Zachary T. Robbins.

The film’s many award wins include Denver International Film Festival’s People’s Choice Award, Heartland International Film Festival’s Jimmy Stewart Legacy Award and Naples International Film Festival’s Audience Choice Award.
