Disney fans will be delighted as Moana 2 sails to Number 1 debut on the UK’s Official Film Chart.
The sequel to 2016’s much-loved animated Disney film sails straight in at the top on digital downloads only, finishing above last week’s Number 1 Gladiator II (3), and other previous chart-toppers Wicked (2) and Venom: The Last Dance (4).

3 years after the events of the first film, Moana (Auli?i Cravalho) receives an unexpected call from her ancestors, sending her on a journey to the far seas and into dangerous, long-lost waters on a whole new adventure.
Two more films make a Top 10 debut this week; superhero thriller Kraven The Hunter, starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, lands straight in at Number 5, and raunchy comedy-drama film Anora, which stars Mikey Madison as the eponymous character.

Rounding out this week’s Top 10 is animated sci-fi adventure The Wild Robot, which drops four places (7), closely followed by Conclave, down three (8), former chart-topper Dune: Part Two (9) and historic drama Small Things Like These (10) which holds on tight to its place in the Top 10.
