The Montagues are a five-piece band hailing from North Wales and Liverpool, they bring us their brand new track “Juicebox” before their long-awaited second EP “Verona” is released later this year. 

“Juicebox” starts with a short but lovely guitar solo and Oli on keyboards, and then races straight into the track, with such fantastic lyrics, that you can picture everyone in the mosh pit jumping up and down and screaming out the lyrics. It’s another anthem/stadium-worthy track. 

With the immense solo guitar riff from Jack M on the track, and Jonny T on the bass as well as the vocals rippling throughout from lead singer Kyle Parry. With such an upbeat track, and not lulling at all, I must say Jack W, I cannot wait to see you playing drums on this one, as I know you put your absolute all into playing. If you have ever been to see these guys play live, then you will know about Jack W’s playing the drums. 

This track is sure to get your toes tapping, as well as turning up the volume in the car and head banging away. 

I love the way this track is full on all the way, not giving you a chance to rest from jumping around and singing these lyrics out loud. And what is great, is that it doesn’t lose its pace at all, and then ends without any warning, which will leave you wanting more, and singing those lyrics “I will love you, I will love you more”. And those lyrics speak the truth, and this track says to me “The Montagues, I will love you more”. 

I have followed The Montagues since the beginning of 2019, and they formed in late 2018. This band has gone from strength to strength, even giving us, the fans, some acoustic content during Covid, which kept a lot of us upbeat through a dark time. 

I just want to say to The Montagues that Juicebox is amazing, and cannot wait to hear this particular track live at one of your gigs. And look forward to catching up with you all soon.
