TBH BIBI is an eighteen-year-old British non-binary artist and musician who draws inspiration from early 2000s pop-punk and alternative music genres. They bring these influences to life through their fresh and raw new songs.
TBH BIBI has always written lyrics as a way to express difficult emotions, jotting them down in a sketchbook and singing them out:
“When things get complicated, music feels easy – it’s a relief to share my feelings through writing & performing. I suffer with anxiety but won’t let it hold me back – the moment I hit the stage, I remember ‘who gives a sh*t?’ and I’ll go for it!”
With a subculture style and a highly anticipated debut single (already featured on BBC Introducing), TBH BIBI has already amassed over 100k TikTok followers.
Being the kid of former NY Loose vocalist and cult favourite Brijitte West, punk rock credentials are firmly in play, and TBH BIBI is one to watch.
Of debut single ‘I Don’t Care’, TBH BIBI says, “It’s about standing up to awful people, tearing them down before they tear you down, and not taking any sh*t”.
