Many of you who have read Blazing Minds for some time, will know that I have been a strong supporter of North Wales Pride and have covered the weekend event on several occasions.

My first North Wales Pride that I covered for my website was back in 2012 was the first pride event at Hendre Hall, I was working with my photography colleague, Lee Howard (who has just completed directing the movie Womble), for the event.

The weekend featured The L Project, Sparkle Lee and Sami Brookes, it was a great weekend of entertainment and a chance to meet some fantastic people. I missed a year and returned to cover the 2014 North Wales Pride, but this time I was doing the photography and was kindly granted Access All Areas which gave me the chance of some exclusive photographs, of which some were used in one of the local newspapers about the performances from Alys Williams (The Voice UK), Kameelion and X-Factor’s Misha B.

2014 was yet another roaring success for North Wales Pride and it was great to be able to work with all the team again who I had met back in 2012.

“This was the third North Wales Pride and it was bigger and better than ever! More people attended this year and all under one roof. This year has demonstrated once again that we are bringing communities together and celebrating diversity in a safe environment for all” – Carwyn Humphreys

Last year, I was lucky enough to be asked back again for the fourth North Wales Pride, my third pride event at Hendre Hall, this time I was honoured with being the official press photographer for the event, so that gave me the chance to get those exclusive shots on stage with the artists that were performing such as the lovely Elin Fflur, very funny & rude Chrystal Bawls and Angie Brown.

Angie Brown Wowed as the headlining act of 2015, Angie put on one heck of a performance and she just got the crowd joining in so easily, they all sang along with her and at one point she was down at the front of the stage and up close and personal singing to those just behind the barrier, just superb and ideal chance for me to jump on the stage with and get a shot of her at this perfect moment.
