Waking up to sad news is never good and today I woke up to the news that Fast and Furious actor, Paul Walker, had been killed in a car accident.
The 40-year-old died in a smash north of Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon. He was not driving, he was in fact a passenger in a friend’s car.
A statement on Walker’s Facebook page said he was a passenger in a friend’s car and had been in the area to attend a charity event for his organisation Reach Out Worldwide.

Universal Pictures issued a statement, saying studio staff were “heartbroken” by Walker’s death.
“Paul was truly one of the most beloved and respected members of our studio family for 14 years, and this loss is devastating to us, to everyone involved with the Fast & Furious films, and to countless fans.
“We send our deepest and most sincere condolences to Paul’s family.”
Paul Walker had starred in many movies and his latest “Hours” is due for release in the UK this month, but he is originally best known for his role as Brian in the Fast & Furious franchise which number 7 is/was scheduled for release in July 2014.
He began acting when he was very young, appearing in many TV commercials. In 1987 he played Prof. Bennet in Monster in the Closet (1986). He then starred in the television series, Throb (1986). He also made guest appearances on several television shows including Charles in Charge (1984),Highway to Heaven (1984), Who’s the Boss? (1984) – Source IMDB
But let’s not forget the driver of the car, former race car driver, friend, business partner and financial adviser to Walker, Roger Rodas.
Roger was the CEO of Always Evolving, a car customisation shop, where the charity event was being held on Saturday night.
Our hearts go out to Paul’s family and his daughter and to the family of Roger Rodas at this tragic time.
