Tara Reid and Ian Ziering return for a second helping in Sharknado 2: The Second One
A while back I was happily watching the SyFy channel and tweeting with some of the stars of the film, as you do, while watching Sharknado and being me I was thoroughly enjoying what turned out to be one heck of a crazy movie!

So Anywho, enough of that, on to the point at hand, the sharks are going to be back!!!
Yes folks you read that right and along with the Sharknado’s will be Tara Reid and Ian Ziering returning to the crazy world of flying sharks, lashings of blood splatter and more craziness and I can’t wait.
Sharknado 2: The Second One Coming Soon!
This time so much more looks like it’s going to be getting the Sharknado treatment as the Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building are shown on the poster for the movie, which will air on Syfy this July with filming starting in February.
With a recipe for “disaster movie” mayhem that worked so well with Sharknado, it’s no surprise that “The Second One” will follow it
Thomas Vitale executive VP of programming and original movies for Syfy said “Sharknado was an extraordinary ‘perfect storm’ which captured the attention of movie fans across the globe,” … “You couldn’t go anywhere without hearing about Sharknado! By reassembling the creative team – and dropping sharks onto New York’s iconic sites – we’re unleashing yet another ‘fin’ wave of shark-mania.”
Suffice to say, we all know that the social media around the world will probably go nuts again for Sharknado 2, the first film had people tweeting frantically when it was released and it has become one of those love/hate films, with people becoming divided over it.
I suppose you could describe Sharknado as a Marmite film, but personally for me I loved it, The Asylum always have me glued, it’s like going back to those old black and white B-Movies that were so bad when they were good.
These types of film that do have a rather big following are like those, in years to come films like Sharknado will be classed as today’s modern-day B-Movies and I’ll still be enjoying them with their bizarre storylines, crazy effects and slightly over the top and sometimes ropy acting, but who cares, it’s all a bit of fun.
