Little Bear’s Big Trip (Cert U, 90mins)
Friends become unlikely heroes in this epic tale of friendship, family and adventure. When Mic Mac (Daniel Medvedev) and Oscar (Stephen Thomas Ochsner, Chicks) find themselves in charge of a baby bear whose delivery by stork did not go to plan, they set out on a massive adventure to reunite the bear cub with its parents. Setting off over land and sea, this epic journey will see them join forces with a teenage Panda and a stork in need of a new job if this cub is not delivered to where it needs to be. However, all is not as easy as it might seem as forces are conspiring against them to ensure they do not reach their goal. Also starring Bernard Jacobsen (Londongrad), Little Bear’s Big Trip is directed by Natalya Nilova (The Big Trip), who co-wrote the script with Pavel Vinogradov (The Heart and How to Use It).

LOLA (Cert 15, 79mins)
In 1941, music-loving sisters Thomasina (Emma Appleton, Everything I Know About Love) and Martha (Stefanie Martini, Prime Suspect 1973) build a machine called LOLA which can intercept broadcasts from the future. While the sisters initially use the machine for small ventures like becoming the first fans of 1970s music, they soon realise that it may hold the key to defeating the Nazis. LOLA proves to be massively effective in shifting the tide of the war, but as Thomasina begins to become carried away with the level of power the machine holds over the future, the sisters soon discover the world-altering consequences of their actions. Featuring original music by Neil Hannon of The Divine Comedy and shot on 16mm and 35mm film stock, LOLA is directed by Andrew Legge from a script he co-wrote with Angeli Macfarlane (Death of a President) with 16 and 35mm photography by Oona Menges. LOLA also stars Rory Fleck Byrne (This Is Going to Hurt), Aaron Monaghan (Assassin’s Creed), and Hugh O’Conor (Chocolat).

Kindling (94mins)
Inspired by true events, Kindling follows a group of young men who return to their hometown to turn their friend Sid’s final summer into a celebration of life, love and friendship. Facing mortality, Sid (George Somner, Sex Education) wants to create a legacy and be remembered forever. With his obsession for astronomy and the atmosphere, he comes up with a plan to bring everyone together and make this summer unforgettable. He gives each boy a category – love, home, friends, family and location – and asks them to find an item that connects them all with the word they’ve been given. Also starring Conrad Khan (County Lines), Wilson Mbomio (The Witcher) and Mia McKenna-Bruce (Persuasion), Kindling is written and directed by Connor O’Hara in his feature directorial debut.

The Locksmith (92mins)
A thief (Ryan Phillippe, fresh out of prison, tries to work his way back into the life of his daughter and ex-fiancé. Determined, he is forced to use the skills he has as a gifted locksmith. Things take a tumultuous turn after an unexpected disappearance. Also starring Kate Bosworth (Superman Returns), Ving Rhames (Mission: Impossible franchise), and Charlie Weber (How to Get Away with Murder), The Locksmith is directed by Nicolas Harvard as his feature directorial debut, and written by John Glosser (Splinter), Ben Kabialis (Arrival) and Blair Kroeber (RuPaul’s Drag Race).
