We’re very pleased to bring you some news from Lightbulb Film Distribution, as they have announced that SOMNIUM will be released in the UK & Ireland from 8th September.
Written and directed by Racheal Cain, the science-fiction thriller stars Chloe Levine (The Sacrifice Game, Transfiguration), Will Peltz (Unfriended) and Grace Van Dien (Stranger Things).
At experimental sleep clinic, SOMNIUM, dreams are made real. Side effects may include: hallucinations, paranoia, detachment from reality and permanent nightmares.
Speaking on the acquisition of the film, Sales & Acquisitions Director Peter Thompson commented, “We were so impressed by how first-time director Racheal Cain blended suspense with psychological terror. The dream sequences were deeply unsettling, reminiscent of Anthony Scott Burns’ COME TRUE (2020). Chloe Levine delivers a haunting lead performance as a small-town girl struggling in the big city.
