We have some horror movie news as Lightbulb Film Distribution has announced that “Street Trash,” directed by Ryan Kruger, will be released in UK cinemas starting January 10.
This feature is a reimagining of the 1987 cult horror-comedy of the same title. Kruger is known for his previous work on “Fried Barry.”
A group of misfits must fight for survival when they discover a plot to exterminate every homeless person in the city.
“We are thrilled to be bringing Street Trash to audiences in the UK & Ireland. Kruger’s new film is just as gloopy and depraved as the original, and the social commentary is arguably even more relevant today,” commented LFD Sales & Acquisitions Director, Peter Thompson.
The movie stars Sean Cameron Michael (Black Sails), Donna Cormack-Thomson (Catch Me A Killer) and Joe Vaz (Good Omens).
Street Trash will be released in select UK cinemas on January 10 and Digital and Blu-ray on February 17 courtesy of Lightbulb Film Distribution.
