We have some TV news for you today as the beautifully crafted crime drama THE BAY is back with a brand-new third series welcoming new Family Liaison Officer DS Jenn Townsend, played by Marsha Thomason, as she is thrown in the deep end when a body is found in the bay on her very first day. Â
THE BAY SEASON THREE is available on DVD on 21st February and on Digital Download now. From award-winning writer Daragh Carville (Being Human, The Smoke) and reprising their roles in this hugely successful drama are Daniel Ryan (Innocent, Home Fires) and Erin Shanagher (Viewpoint, Peaky Blinders), the series also stars Michael Karim (Lewis), Rina Mahoney (Emmerdale) and Gary Lewis (Vigil, Billy Elliot).

The first 2 seasons of THE BAY star Morven Christie and are written by Daragh Carville.   In the debut season, Family Liaison Officer Lisa Armstong (Morven Christie) is assigned to a missing persons investigation that at first seems like any other – tragic, but all too familiar. But there’s something very different about this particular case. Lisa realises she has a personal connection with this frightened family – one that could compromise her and the case.
Season Two begins with Lisa at a low ebb, forced to do menial police work. However, when a new case involving a shocking murder within a loving family emerges, Lisa is called upon once again.
