Christmas is almost here so we have some festive film cinema release news for you today with some stills and the trailer for the upcoming The Nutcracker and The Magic Flute which is being released in UK and Ire cinemas on December 16th courtesy of Dazzler Media.

On Christmas Eve, Marie makes a wish to become little and carefree again, just like when she was a child. Miraculously, her wish comes true, and her childhood toys all come to life. The unattractive Nutcracker transforms into brave prince George, who has been cast under a spell by a queen of rats.
In this Christmas animation directed by Viktor Glukhushin and based on the classic story, and featuring Tchaikovsky’s famous music score, Marie, George and their toy friends travel to the magical Land of Flowers with a mission to save the world from the control of the rat people.
