More movie news for you today folks, we’re please to bring you the new trailer for the quirky drama Welcome to Me, which stars Kristen Wiig, James Marsden, Wes Bentley, Joan Cusack and Tim Robbins,
The new film is coming to UK cinemas and will also be exclusive to Sky Store on March 25 and is directed by Shira Piven (Fully Loaded) and written by Eliot Laurence.
Welcome to Me tells the story of a young woman with Borderline Personality Disorder who wins the lottery? In the case of Alice Klieg (played by Kristen Wiig), she immediately quits her psychiatric meds and buys her own talk show.
The film follows a year in the life of this “extraordinary” woman, who, inspired by the immortal Oprah, broadcasts her dirty laundry as both a form of exhibitionism and a platform to share her peculiar views on everything from nutrition to relationships to neutering pets. As her national audience rapidly grows, her family, friends and colleagues all become increasingly entangled in Alice’s show.
