Upcoming Comic Book Movies Heading Your Way

With Man of Steel hitting in currently in cinemas, I thought about just some of the Upcoming Comic Book movies that will be making their way to our cinema screens soon, as we all know, the Comic Book adaptations always seem popular with movie theatre audiences, so what do we have we instore for us soon.

Man of Steel

Man of Steel

Man of Steel was released on the 14th June, the much anticipated Comic Book movie reboot, stars Henry Cavill, Russell Crowe, Kevin Costner, Amy Adams and Michael Shannon.

Rebooting the franchise and the story of Superman right from the beginning, many have been waiting for this one and it’s no surprise that people have been booking tickets in advance to see this one. Review on Blazing Minds tomorrow!

Based on the Dark Horse Comics book, R.I.P.D. (Rest In Peace Department), stars Ryan Reynolds as a murdered cop who is enlisted in an afterlife law enforcement agency, so that he can find who killed him. I’m thinking Ghostbusters/Men In Black on this one.

Thor: The Dark World

Another big one for Marvel fans everywhere as Chris Hemsworth is back as Thor, continuing on from Thor and Avenger’s Assemble, the movie looks like it’s going to be another blockbuster for Marvel and it certainly has a fan base that has gone wild over the released trailers.

The Wolverine

There have been posters galore going out for the new Wolverine movie with Hugh Jackman returning as Logan, I have to say that the trailers have looked really good for this one, but lets just hope that we are not let down like we all were with the previous Wolverine movie!

Sin City 2: A Dame for a Kill

With Clive Owen, Jaime King, Jamie Chung, Jessica Alba, Rosario Dawson, Mickey Rourke and Michael Madsen back in Sin City, this is one that I’ve been waiting to see, I loved Sin City and I’m also a fan of Frank Miller.

It seems that several of the shorts in the new Sin City are prequels to the original stories, so it’ll be interesting see how those play out in the finished movie.

Last But Not Least In My Little List!

Kick-Ass 2

Kick Ass 2

The costumed high-school hero Kick-Ass joins with a group of normal citizens who have been inspired to fight crime in costume. Meanwhile, the Red Mist plots an act of revenge that will affect everyone Kick-Ass knows.

Over To You My Superhero, Comic Book Loving Readers

So there’s just a small selection of some of the movies from Comic Books that I’m looking forward, now I can’t do all the work all the time, I’m just a mild-mannered blogger after all, so it’s over to you now.

If you’re looking forward to a Comic Book movie that is coming soon, doesn’t have to be this year, but you know it’s in production etc, then let us know your thoughts, is there any that you’ve really enjoyed so far, or any you didn’t like.

Let us know, we’d love to know 😉
