It’s getting to that time of the year folks when the pantomimes will be hitting the theatres, we popped along to Theatre Colwyn in Colwyn Bay for the press call with the cast of The Adventures of Pinocchio, the new panto from Magic Light Productions.
The Magic Light Productions pantos are always something special and those who are visitors to Blazing Minds will have seen our reviews of their wonderful shows.
This year sees Theatr Colwyn favourites Libby and Stuart Loughland with Steve Bloor treading the boards along with Dean Raymond and Kazia Cannon.

It was great to be back with the team at Theatr Colwyn and join in the fun and laughs during the press call to see the cast in their costumes for Pinocchio.
This year will see Libby Loughland as Strombolina, Stuart Loughland as Geppetta, Steve Bloor in the title role as Pinocchio, Dean Raymond as Jiminy Cricket and Kazia Cannon as The Blue Fairy. The Pearl Shaw School of Performing Arts will also be joining the cast again this year, plus the amazing Magic Light Puppets.

From experience with the Magic Light Productions pantos, I know that this year is going to be something special and I’ve been lucky enough to have some inside info on some of the gags and comedy that I know will have the audience it fits of laughter, but I can’t say anything as here at Blazing Minds we don’t like spoilers plus I’ve been sworn to secrecy.
I’m looking forward to joining the gang for rehearsals soon and I will bring you some exclusives from those, so keep those eyes peeled on the Blazing Minds Social Media for those, of course we won’t be giving anything away.
The Adventures of Pinocchio will run from the 21st of December 2024 to the 4th Of January 2025. Tickets are available from the Box Office on 01492 556687/872000 or book online at www.theatrcolwyn.co.uk.
