2025 is sounding pretty awesome for films already thanks to Signature Entertainment and the Movie Slate that they announced, there is a bit of something for everyone to enjoy to kick off the New Year. We take a look at what’s heading your way.
Werewolves (Cert 15, 93mins)
Synopsis: Humanity is about to discover that its bite is far worse than its bark in this action horror. One year ago, a supermoon event triggered a global outbreak, transforming anyone exposed to moonlight into bloodthirsty werewolves for just one night. Now, as the next supermoon rises, former marine and Global Rapid Response Team Leader Wesley Marshall teams up with scientists Dr. Aranda and Dr. Amy Chen to find a cure before humanity is lost, but as chaos and carnage unfold, Marshall must fight off killer beasts and risk everything to protect his family.

The Girl in the Pool (89mins)
Synopsis: Tom is struggling to maintain his composure during his birthday celebration as he’s secretly concealed the body of his murdered mistress in his family’s home. Paranoia grips him as he navigates through whispers and cryptic hints from those around him. As he delves deeper into the mystery, he discovers he’s not the only one hiding something, leading to a tense unravelling of truths and betrayals amidst a desperate search for answers, revealing a twist that nobody could have seen coming.

Into the Deep (Cert 15. 90mins)
Synopsis: Richard Dreyfuss returns to face off against the ocean’s most deadly predator in this jaws-some underwater thriller. Off the coast of Madagascar, a young father and his daughter, Cassidy, share a playful swim until a looming shark attack shatters their idyllic moment. Traumatised by the incident, Cassidy grows into adulthood plagued by fear, until her grandfather, Seamus, an oceanography professor, takes her under his wing to conquer her demons. Years later, Cassidy, now married to Gregg, embarks on a dive expedition to Reunion Island, only to find herself entangled in a perilous situation involving modern-day pirates and a vengeful great white shark. Forced to confront her deepest fears to survive, Cassidy must navigate treacherous waters both physical and psychological, grappling with her past trauma while facing imminent danger.

Elevation (91mins)
Synopsis: From the producers of A Quiet Place and The Purge comes a sci-fi thriller where you don’t go down without a fight. The world has changed.
